I love to cook new recipes, especially on Sundays. There is something very comforting about a big Sunday evening meal with family while gearing up for the week ahead.
A life change that seemed risky at the time, but turned out positive
My first job out of college was teaching abroad in Vietnam. I wasn’t familiar with the language or teaching, but I learned a tremendous amount about myself that year.
My favorite getaway spot
The Outer Banks of North Carolina. I love the landscape, the set-up of the houses, and the overall feel. That’s become my family’s annual summer trip.
The natural talent I’d like to be gifted with
I’d love to be a “musical savant.” It’d be so fun to be able to play a range of instruments and write music.
