A life change that seemed risky at the time, but turned out positive
I left my family and friends in North Dakota when I was 15 years old to attend a private school in Connecticut. It turned out to be the best decision – I learned to be independent and came away with life-long friends.
What “breaking away from the expected” means to me
I think it’s about having fun while we partner with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges. We’re a community of highly capable and dedicated consultants, and yet we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
My most significant role model
My parents. My father served the State of North Dakota for over 25 years with humility and grace. He has an innate ability to relate to people of all walks of life. My mother is the most selfless person I know.
My favorite motto
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” – Maya Angelou
The natural talent I’d like to be gifted with
Story-telling.
